Green Umbrella starts, if possible, by designing the canvas, or the slab. We begin by help specifying the mix design and flatwork to ensure that the surface is the ideal for polishing. Some of these as unique as white concrete. (www.whitepolishedconcrete.com)

Moving beyond the canvas, there are four major components to the Green Umbrella Engineered Polished Concrete System: the Process, the Equipment, the Chemistry and the Craftsmen.

GUEPC is not simply opening the rock and applying a polymer sealer A geen mechanical process involves processing the floor wet to avoid silicosis issues affecting either installers themselves or by contaminating air ducts in the building, endangering future inhabitants. The Green Umbrella process uses a progression of diamond grits on a machine built for wet concrete processing. The use of water enables a higher quality cut to the floor. The wet grinding system has well supported in the industry for the best. For more education go to www.GreenPolishing.com.

Green Umbrella equipment (www.GreenUmbrellaProducts.com) carries both the weight and rugged durability to see the concrete grinding, honing and polishing process through to completion and can even expose aggregate if desired. GU uses alternative fuels to leave a lesser impact on the environment. Meeting GS-24 and other sustainable requirements. GU grinders (Green Grinder or Stone Extreme) and edger (GU Low Profile Edger) process the entire floor, with the same profile within ¼ inch of walls! Green Umbrella controls the diamond matrix of all our cutting abrasives, eliminating the inconsistencies found in the industry of not getting the same "look", though specifying the same grit size.

Green Umbrella concrete treatments are non-sodium and do not generate hazardous waste. (www.GreenUmbrellaTreatments.com) The Green Umbrella line of densifiers are not water soluble, do not contribute to alkali-silica reaction, such as Dry Shield. Because GU treatments are pH neutral they will not resist color introduction or allow "walk off", which is a common problem in the polishing industry. Green Umbrella dyes are a standard in the industry. Green Umbrella colorants are micro-pigments (Color Polish or Color Shield), and thus will not fade.

Green Umbrella floors include accountability through onsite management. Green Umbrella Craftsmen (www.GreenUmbrellaCraftsman.com) are experienced and have many certifications through in-depth training.

From design to completion, the Green Umbrella Engineered Polished Concretes System will be there from the pour to the polish. We simply offer the greenest options for grey concrete.

From Design to Completion, you experience a complete system.
